Our Story
Building on experience, integrity, and generations of craftsmanship
CJMC Build was founded by Christopher Jones, a second-generation builder with more than 30 years of experience in home construction and design.
Because of his engineering background and field work, Chris understands every stage of the process—from framing and finish work to project management.
As a result, he knows how to build homes that last.
This hands-on experience guides every CJMC Build project. In addition, Chris works directly with each homeowner to make clear design choices, solve challenges, and keep projects on schedule.
In fact, that close communication is what clients mention most. As a result, every home reflects the client’s vision and lifestyle. Clients don’t just get a builder—they gain a trusted partner who values honesty and craftsmanship.
CJMC Build is a Nashville custom home builder known for modern farmhouse design and timeless craftsmanship.
Moreover, each project blends integrity, pride, and careful detail with the warmth of traditional Southern homes.
For example, we build modern farmhouses and complete historic renovations in Nashville.
We also deliver luxury new builds in Franklin and Murfreesboro.
From the first concept to the final detail, CJMC Build delivers one-of-a-kind custom homes defined by craftsmanship, precision, and purpose. Every design is tailored to the homeowner’s lifestyle and lot — balancing form, function, and architectural character. With decades of field experience and an engineer’s eye for structure, we turn ideas into homes built to last for generations.
Distinctive farmhouse-inspired homes that blend timeless architecture with modern design and high-end finishes. Built to feel right at home in today’s neighborhoods — warm, functional, and beautifully crafted.
A seamless partnership from the first sketch to the final finish. We work hand-in-hand with homeowners, architects, and designers to bring your vision to life — from site layout and survey placement to interior flow and functional room design. Every decision is guided by your style, budget, and lifestyle for a result that feels truly your own.
Specializing in historic restorations and large-scale additions, we bring new life to existing homes while preserving their original character. CJMC Build works closely with local historical committees and homeowners to design thoughtful expansions that blend seamlessly with the home’s architecture. From reconfiguring spaces to restoring period details, every project balances authenticity, functionality, and beauty.
Building homes isn’t just a trade — it’s a legacy. With over three decades in residential construction, CJMC Build brings unmatched technical knowledge, precision, and craftsmanship to every project.

We've had the distinct pleasure of working with CJMC Custom Home Builders on several projects now, both in Nashville and Franklin, and the experience has been consistently exceptional. What stands out most is the attention to detail and the sincere desire to deliver the best possible finished product to the homeowner. Attached are several completed crawl space photos from a recent historic home remodel in Nashville. Hard to believe this home is over 125-years old. We thank CJMC Build for bringing us in to make the crawl space a healthy and safe space for the new homeowner's. I wholeheartedly recommend CJMC Custom Home Builders to anyone in the greater Nashville looking for a builder who prioritizes integrity, craftsmanship, and a positive client experience.

One of the most honest, caring, and quality first contractors I’ve ever worked with. In a world of corners getting cut, and money first mentality, they set the standard for clear communication and high end quality. CJMC went above and beyond. Would highly recommend to all.
